And the Winner is ... Lena Fox! Congratulations! Lena won our Norwex AntiBac Enviro Cloth & Window Cloth pair in the giveaway we held at the Natural Living Expo this past weekend. Natural Living Expo was GREAT this year! Another year of record attendance. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see our booth and talk with us. We're exhausted, but had a lot of fun. Busy Times Ahead Natural Living Expo was just the second of our events this year. We have several coming up in the next couple of months (and even more later in the year). And don't forget about our local Valley Junction special events. Valley Junction has something for everyone. Here's what's coming up in the near future: | Gallery Night | Friday, April 9 | | Cinco de Mayo | Saturday, May 1 | | Farmer's Market | Thursdays, beginning May 6 | | Spring Art Market | Sunday, May 16 | | A-May-zing Days | Sat & Sun, May 29-30 | | Smokin' in the Junction | Sat & Sun, May 29-30 |
We've got a busy couple of months ahead! We hope to see you at some of these events. Meet the Crafters We thought since we now carry several crafted items that we would introduce you to their makers. So periodically we will highlight one of the crafters. See if you can spot the nepotism in our choice of first crafter. ;-) Tommy's sister, Sonja Koch, began making quilts while she was working towards a degree in accounting at the University of Arkansas. After graduating in 1993, she suddenly found that she didn't quite enjoy doing taxes and audits everyday. Wanting to start a family, she was eager to find a way to work from home. So she bought a long arm quilting machine and turned her quilting hobby into a career. The rest, as they say, is history. Sonja, aka So, still lives in Fayetteville, AR, with her husband, their three kids(ages 14, 12, and 3) and a rotating stock of foster kittens. All three kids have grown up helping Mom in the quilting room. Recently, So decided to focus her efforts on making T-shirt (or Memory) Quilts. However she still finds time to make organic baby quilts for us at Little Padded Seats. | Upcoming Classes Cloth Diaper 101Monday 4/5 @ 5:30pm

VBAC PreparationSunday 6/6 & 6/13 3-5pmNew Zipper One Size Diaper In our search for unique cloth diapers we have found Lil' Punk A** Cloth Diapers (name edited so as not to offend). These diapers use zippers (instead of snaps or hook & loop) to secure the wings around the waist and also to adjust the rise. This gives them a unique look which the manufacturer has capitalized upon and gone all out to make them look 'punk', complete with (decorative) safety pins. We have decided to start small and bring in only a couple of their 'hard core' line, including:
- Black Denim
- Blue Denim
- Black Leather
- Brown Leather
- Red Leather
- "The Finger" print
- "I'm NORML" print
We look forward to hearing from you about these unique diapers! |
