We've been using our current mailing list manager (Bravenet.com) for some time now. When we made the switch to Bravenet we had to find a new way to manage mailing our newsletter in a bit of a hurry. We found this free - read, ad supported - service and were a bit leery. Would our newsletter recipients resent having a third party ad at the top and bottom of each newsletter? It wasn't the ideal solution, but reluctantly we settled on it. The ads weren't overtly offensive and they quickly blended into the background (in our perception).

Recently, we've received some negative feedback regarding these ads. So we're explicitly notifying everyone that we have no control over which ads are placed on our mailings. We do not, and can not, vet the ads in any way. We do not screen or endorse the products or services offered in these ads.

We realize that this is not an ideal solution. However, we are quickly approaching the limitations of this free service. So our hand will be forced again shortly to make another transition in how we manage the mailing of our newsletters. Hopefully, Tommy will have enough time before we have to take any action to learn to set up and administer a list server himself and we can take complete control of this task. If anyone would like to offer help or advice in this regard we would be very appreciative.
