pikkolo is a mei tai inspired carrier with the convenience of side-release buckle closures. Additionally, pikkolo's unstructured waist makes it possible to cinch the carrier narrower to enable small babies to ride legs-out or older infants to face forward comfortably. All buckles adjust both ways for an optimal fit. Use pikkolo:

• front facing in or out
• on your hip
• on your back
• with babies and toddlers 8 lbs. up to 40 lbs.
• with your detachable flat sleeping hood (included with purchase) when your little one's head gets floppy

You must remove and reverse the direction of waist buckles in order to wear your carrier as intended for this application. We recommend this as something to which you may wish to graduate as your child enters the 20-25 lb. range. This is not something you will want to add and remove frequently. 100% black cotton fabric, made in US, patent-pending. Spot clean.
